Launching a Web Browser from DroidDB

In your DroidDB application, you may want to launch a web browser and aim it at the particular URL.

It's very easy to do this:

  1. Create a command Button or a step in a macro
  2. Change the "Action" from RECORD | CLOSE to RUN EXTERNAL
  3. Leave the "Command" blank
  4. Set "Arg" to a variable or column that contains the URL.

Note: Make sure the URL starts with http: or https:
